This is a bad facility. The rehab wing is acceptable but when someone gets transferred to LTC there is blatant disregard for the resident. It is bad when my stepmother has to call her daughter in from another town to be taken to the bathroom. Vitals taken in the middle of the night awaking people who are there for rest and recuperation. Nurses not recognizing or ignoring someone's edema. Lying about tests done and that a doctor saw someone when nothing was done until too late. If you want your loved to have good and peaceful days avoid this facility. They put the diabetes to bed before they are able to get their needed bedtime snack to stabilize blood sugars. And the nurse states they are there for them to come and get but after a stroke with decreased mobility you cannot get yourself out of bed and no one follows up to see if you got it. But the icing on the cake came when the nurse said this person only had blood sugar problems at 7 AM. Lack of education or intelligence is scary. If the blood sugar had completely bottomed out in the night would anyone have noticed a corpse. This person also had HTN which they ignored extremely high on several occasions. But they didn't want anyone to know because they wanted to go home ASAP and did not want any setbacks. Staff is of poor quality and so is administration. She's passed . You are referring it to the very heartless administration who ignored her in the first place. How does that help?
