Avella Specialty Pharmacy

I'm currently recovering from brain tumor surgery. I can't drive and the St. Louis office is not close so they FedEx the medication I need to control the pain and wicked headaches. If I could give minus stars I would. They not only had my doctors prescription for over a week in advance but they refuse to mail it until I'm out there of medication. I tried to explain that I take my last pill before I go to bed and if you wait then I'll wake up with in pain. After several phone calls they then agreed to have it to me first thing in the morning. I woke up 7am and suffered until the script came at noon. If they had only sent it the day before I would not have had this problem. Their staff is rude (one hung up on me) and uncaring about their customers. It's not like I'm a pill seeking addict... I'm recovering from a tumor being removed from my brain!!! Although this is specialty medication I called Walgreens and as long as they have a few business days notice they can order the medication. So my suggestion is to go to Walgreens. Everyone lives close to those.
