Stadium is beautiful and field is kept in top notch condition. Most fans are pretty decent here but I find that Cardinal fans are the most hostile toward visiting fans than any other home fan base and I've been to about a dozen professional baseball stadiums. Again, not all cardinal fans, just a few that make the others look bad. When you think about it, you'd think they would welcome visiting fans with open arms. After all, all ticket sales and merchandise sales go back into the team but I guess not all fans think it all the way through before hurling ridiculous insults at folks. Otherwise, I highly recommend visiting this stadium, just leave your home jersey at home and wear something neutral to avoid any b.s.
Great experience for a baseball fan. For the opportunity to see a ballgame, this is one of the best. However, the cost of good entertainment is high. For my 15 year old daughter and I, 2 "large" hot dogs, 2 regular sodas, a bag of chips, and nachos cost nearly $40. With a $40 price tag on the tickets and $7 for parking, this is an expensive night. I can't imagine bringing a family of 4 and having adults who drink a few beers each.
