A rest area is with a rest area is. As rest areas go this is a fairly nice one. My car broke down for several hours and I spent far too much time here but in the end and my car got started and I drove on home. They have bathrooms they have Maps they have stuff to help you on your way and not much else the scenery outside is fairly pretty not too much more to expect from a rest area.
Really surprising to see that there was only one stall in the women's restroom that was out of order, so that left open four other stalls for use. The toilets were actually clean, no urine all around the seats and on the floor. Unfortunately, there are no toilet seat covers, so hovering is likely going to be mandatory! I'm not a pop or vending machine snack eater, so it really didn't matter to me that those were locked up when I stopped here, although that could serve to be a problem for many. I arrived at this location sometime around noon on a Monday, so something definitely is up with that. I was really thrilled that there were recycling stations for aluminum, and it was a lovely touch to have an automatic hand washing station so you don't have to touch anything! Bonus, bonus, bonus!
