Totally screwed up our IRA deposits. There was an IRS form that could fix his error. I had to research it and bring it to his attention. But he said he'd never used that form before and dragged his feet until the window of time closed. This screwed up our personal returns and then our small business' return too. We may get audited now and he has now changed his story completely and says he will not provide any help if we get audited. I mistakenly thought he was a CPA but he is NOT so beware!
