Extended Stay America Kansas City - Country Club Plaza

Our room keys would not work. Then the keypad at the parking lot entrance would not work. You had to go all the way around the building to get in. The elevators would not stop on the floor. You had to step down to get off. They were not safe. It was even more alarming with a couple down the hall yelling and fighting. The best part of our stay was the hooker that knocked on our door and realized she had the wrong room and went across the hall. I did not feel safe during our stay.

This hotel was awful. When we arrived the outside seemed nice. We went into the lobby and there was no one working. A sign was posted that stated the hours and that they were closed (even though we arrived during an hour in which they were supposed to be opened). We called the number and a worker came down from somewhere in the hotel. We checked in and began walking to our room. It smelled awful in the halls and the carpet was filthy. We opened our room and it wasn't any better. There were crumbs on the counter, urine on the toilet seat, and sticky floors. The bed was wrinkled. We immediately asked for our money back and went to a different hotel.
