Kearney School District

The Kearney School District is awesome. We moved here approximately 5 years ago. Our daughter is in kindergarten at Kearney Elementary and we have nothing but positive things to say. The district is very organized, keeps us informed and treats our daughter with respect. I wouldn't consider moving anywhere else.

Since I have lived here (8 years) my two daughters have gone here since they were little kids in the first grade. The are now both in the 9th grade. Something I've noticed is that they are generally very tired after school. I asked them why, and they explained to me that their teacher, Dana Lentz, told them to run not one mile, but two. This is sad. I expect better from Kearney.
