My brother chose The Men's Warehouse for his wedding's tuxedo supplier. He and his wife put together a tuxedo that was $190ish. Nobody in the party had a good experience in the first fitting. Frankly, the guys working at the checkout desk were sarcastic and condescending, and in my experience they were acting like it was so weird I didn't know the wedding date so they could look up the rental info, whenever I provided them with the bride and groom's name, which should have been sufficient, and in the end, was. The guy who measured me was very professional and nice, so I chalked it up to disgruntled employees.
The visit to pickup the suits, those same guys were not there and now I had a lady who gave me the tuxedo and had me try it on and look in the mirror. She asked me if it fit ok and it seemed like it did. What I could have used at that time was some guidance from her. I never wear a tux, so I was unaware that the undershirt was supposed to extend past the jacket, exposing the cuffs. My suit was fine except mine was the only one you could not see the cuffs. Speaking of cuffs, three people in our party were missing the cufflinks and fancy metal buttons package, including the groom. We didn't know because nobody put them on during the fitting because it was never advised and the workers never verified it was all there.
My other brother had an undershirt and jacket that did not fit him at all. I don't even know how the workers never pointed it out to him, but it was obvious in all of the photos. Other people in the party had other issues, including shoes that didn't fit correctly, pants that were too tight, etc. Overall, that whole experience was poor, but THEN I find out that everyone else in the party was overcharged for the tux rental. One person was overcharged $50, another $37, and another like $20...all for the same tuxedo arrangement. How does that even happen????
TL;DR - don't go there, and let your friend planning their wedding know to give The Men's Warehouse a hard time about everything so that they get it right.
