Sydenstricker John Deere

Not sure if my expectations were set too high, but placed an order for a new tractor and still haven't received the equipment almost two months later. I keep getting the "next week" line from the salesman. They did provide a loaner part of the time due to the extended wait, but after this many days were still left feeling like we didn't spend enough money to get great service. Probably won't go back.

To the Service Manager and General Manager, I want to express how please I am with a situation that took place yesterday. Let me start by first stating that I am a sales manager for an auto dealership and understand how things can happen. I also understand when these things do happen it is our job to make it right. This is exactly what happened yesterday 4/17/2018. I get my lawn mower serviced at Sydenstricker at the end of every season and love the ease and service you guys provide. I had my mower stored for the year and for the first time this year I was able to get a half a day off with nice weather to get my lawn mowed. After pushing it outside I noticed something on the ground, further examination revealed it was oil. I checked the mower and realized it was the oil filter, it had not been tightened down. I tightened it and checked the oil level. It was bone dry. I called and spoke with Mike ? in service and informed him of what had happened. While all I was wanting at this point was to know how much and what type of oil to go buy he informed me he was in the process of getting someone out to my house to correct this matter. I had not even finished weed eating my property when the guys from Sydenstricker arrived. He immediately cleaned the oil off my floor and service my mower right there. Thanks again for the immediate service to correct a problem and allow me to have an enjoyable evening mowing my lawn. Scott Lapsley
