I went into Visionworks last week and had a great experience when picking out my glasses. They came in only a few days later, ahead of when they estimated so I was pleasantly surprised. I went to pick them up and was in and out in a very short period of time. After getting my glasses home I saw that there was a small scratch on one of the lenses, so I went back about an hour after picking them up and showed the employee the scratch. He was immediately apologetic and said that they would replace the lens but I would have to come back the next day when a manager was present. I went back the next day and the manager told me that I would have to pay to have the lens replaced. I explained to her that I saw the scratch as soon as I got home and came back as soon as I could and was then told to come back and they would be fixed. She continued to tell me that I would have to pay to have the lens replaced because all glasses are "carefully inspected" before given to the customer. Never did she apologize or offer any other solution. I will be returning the glasses for a full refund and will not be returning to Visionworks again.
