Bought a 1951 Pontiac Chieftain from West Port Auto Centre in June 2015. I live in the UK so made a point of asking a lot of questions up front. Mark Rabenort wrote to me to tell me the car had nothing at all wrong with it and his exact words were, "It is ready to go and show". The car ended up being a complete pile of junk. I have spent $thousands on it just to get it to the point where it is legal to drive on UK roads. It had no brakes what-so-ever (and as a result the shipping company drove it into a container and couldn't stop it damaging the rear fender). It needed lots of welding underneath. A lot of the electics didn't work. The steering column was fouling the gearbox and needed modification. It needed new brakes, including pipework and hoses, calipers etc all round. The list went on and on and on. And it still runs like a complete bag of nails now. I wrote to Mark explaining these issues and seeking some sort of compensation payment, but my emails were ignored. I would steer well clear of West Port Auto Center. They are clearly deceitful thieves.
