I moved here in the middle of February and all was well for the first week or two. But I have finally experienced the water temperature issues and seen the passive aggressive notes people write about not picking up after their dogs, smudged crudely on the elevator walls.
3 times in the last week and a half I've run into some issues with homeless people sleeping in the lobby or the inner side doors. I work nights so it's a little unsettling to have to clutch my pepper spray as I walk to the elevators. I've also seen people going through the overflowing dumpsters at night. Weird. Gross. Whatever.
My neighbors also don't seem to mind leaving boxes and trash outside of their doors. Including but not limited to large comforters, shoes, grocery bags and other weird annoyances. Sometimes the hallways reek of weed. Sometimes it smells like someone's grandma's house or stale food. Usually Its not too terrible.
The laundry card thing is stupid and inconvenient, I was under the impression it could be loaded online but oh well.
I pay for parking so I don't have any issues with that other than the occasional jerk who parks in my spot, and having to reverse all the way out of the very, very, tiny parking lot.
Overall I probably wouldn't sign another lease here. For the location and the price it's not the worst. If a small crappy studio with a nice mini kitchen will work for your lifestyle temporarily, it's an okay place to sleep.
